The 67th annual Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR), held from December 4th to 13th, 2025, at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, delivered ten days of electric, record-setting competition. The ultimate story was the triumphant return and commanding performance of Stetson Wright, who cemented his legacy with multiple gold buckles and a historic haul of earnings.
A Wild Ride: Highlights from the 10 Days

The 2025 NFR was marked by intense back-and-forth battles, family dominance, and remarkable consistency across all nine events.
Wright Family Feud: The saddle bronc riding was a family affair, with the Wright brothers—Stetson, Ryder, and Statler—consistently topping the leaderboard. Their Round 9 sweep, taking the top three spots, was a highlight, the third time in family history this feat has been accomplished.
A Champion’s Return: Eight-time World Champion Stetson Wright set the tone early, making a grand return from injury to pick up two go-round wins on Night 1 in saddle bronc and bull riding. He went on to secure a phenomenal seven total go-round wins throughout the 10 days, four in saddle bronc and three in bull riding.
Bareback Brilliance: The bareback riding saw a tight race, with early wins by Cooper Cooke (Round 1) and a strong surge from Waylon Bourgeois (Round 3), but the final nights belonged to the ultimate champion, Rocker Steiner.
Consistency Pays: Steer wrestler Tucker Allen leveraged consistency as his main weapon, posting fast times throughout the finals to ultimately climb past his competitors and secure the average title.
Tie-Down Tension: Shad Mayfield started strong with back-to-back round wins, putting pressure on season-leader Riley Webb. However, the event was a nightly battle, with ropers like Kincade Henry and John Douch also picking up crucial victories.
Barrel Racing Drama: The barrel racing race flipped several times, with defending world champion Kassie Mowry and newcomer Carlee Otero trading go-round wins. Otero, in particular, had a fantastic finals, capping her week with a Round 10 win and earning a total of four go-round buckles.
