A Prequel Series Is Coming For ‘Yellowstone’ Here’s A Teaser
Since the first series premiered, loyal followers have been asking for a prequel and it is now official! Yellowstone will have a prequel series!
Did you see the sneak peak during the Superbowl? Yellowstone co-creator Taylor Sheridan has signed a deal for multiple series with ViacomCBS and MTV Entertainment Group, and the Yellowstone prequel is first on the docket.
Titled Y: 1883, the Paramount+ series “follows the Dutton family as they embark on a journey west through the Great Plains toward the last bastion of untamed America. It is a stark retelling of Western expansion, and an intense study of one family fleeing poverty to seek a better future in America’s promised land – Montana.” Sheridan, John Linson, Art Linson, David Glasser, David Hutkin, and Bob Yari will executive produce.
